Susan's visit & Hawaii album cover

I completed this layout about daughter's visit. So grateful that she visits each spring. Now I'm playing with the Hawaii pictures. So much fun.

Some new creations for March

These were the Tarragon challenges for March. Use of a punch for a Valentine layout.

Completed earlier this month the distressing challenge with my childhood photos. I'm completing this whole series with Amy Butler papers.

The sketch for March is the left page of this snow layout. My 2009 layouts are being completed as we go along. Now onto Hawaii vaca pictures!

Ready for Spring?

I am! And a card post for a change! This card made with jillibean-soup papers. Woo-hoo for warmer weather!

Halloween Book

A tip of the hat to Lori Slawinski for designing this book. (Click to view larger image) Once she came up with the basic design, I could set to work sorting through 30 years of Halloween pictures. We love Halloween here at the Z house. I made miniature copies of some of the best Halloween crafts, drawings, and cards. (This is a great way to clear away basement accumulation.) I love having many of the best pics in one book. I tore the basic book apart, added more pages, a new bind-it-all binding and voila: The Z Halloween compendium!

Button challenge

This layout is the result of a button challenge. I chose a very curved line theme for this whole album.

Tarragon February challenges

My art group, Tarragon, is led by Lori Slawinski. She is a great source of inspiration. It has been nearly a year since she invited me to join this Yahoo group. The group has a monthly layout challenge and a semi weekly supply challenge. We met once in January and will meet each quarter this year at B&B scrapbooks.
Here are the two layouts I created with the heart challenge. I'd begun that first layout months ago with some cool packaging I received in the mail. Waited til now to complete the journaling and embellishments. The second layout is dome with a formerly framed engagement picture. Now the wedding picture is in the frame and the engagement pic is safe in an album. Aren't they photogenic?

The layout sketch was a challenge for me. Since I am creating pages as I go in 2009, I created these pages from a recent visit with friends. Love the big 6 X 8 prints.
