Indians layout

The challenge I accepted was to use something transparent in a layout. Mary bought me these fancy Indians stickers last year. Have been looking for a way to use them. I've also been wanting to play with these big parentheses shapes.

Card inspiration

My good friend, Stacey, made me a beautiful card that inspired me. Here is the product of that inspiration: unbirthday cards. Since my OWU students had to skip a week of yoga classes when I was in DC for my birthday, I created them each an unbirthday greeting.

Here is Stacey's inspiring card:

Baby Kate pages

The tarragon challenge was to create a page about babies or toddlers. I'd just completed some photo shoots with baby Kate--so great timing. This pretty complex layout is now complete. Thanks to Lori for the SEI set of papers tags. The sketch was designed by Fiskars.

Race for the Cure: three layouts

There were so many good photos with great meaning, so three 12 x 12 layouts in addition to the card layout created for Judy. I cut apart a pink cape given to us on race day and sewed that to the papers.

An updated layout

I rarely change a layout once I deem it complete. In all fairness I think I just called this layout complete since it was late at night and I was tired! So today I added some stitching to the baseball and a title to the page. I think it is an improvement. Now, it is really done. I'd like to complete some other layouts, and the whole Hawaii album.

Friday night layouts

After a week in DC Mark and I spend a Friday evening at home catching up. For me it was completing some layouts I'd been thinking about. I recently bought some thickers and traded a friend for more. I was very eager to see them on layouts and here they are. Also was able to incorporate some findings from Lori and Stacey. *I should edit this to state that I'd completed the mom's day layouts just before our trip. Just hadn't photographed them yet. Those layouts were inspired by some great greeting cards I received this year from my offspring.
