Project 12 March

I'm keeping with the same format all year with the layout of the page, stitching, typewritten journaling and all.

Art of Can

I wanted to highlight the can feel of this layout so used aluminum foil shaped with a punch. Also used a red trim that is bound with aluminum.

Couldn't resist the play on words. :)

Florida book

These are three big parts of our trip. I completed them fist to have a unified look to the book. I completed part of this before and during the journey. I used some KI Memories chipboard letters that I'd had on hand for years. Our Bonus Day story deserves to be recorded. Aiming to complete this whole book this week.

Tribute to Grandma

It is no secret that I loved my Grandma. I recently discovered this baby picture of me on grandma's lap with my older siblings. How precious is this? I mounted it on an antique film tray and added some details. The crochet work is grandma's handiwork. The earring was a favorite of hers. Upon closer inspection of this photo, I notice that I am holding my big toe just as I do when practicing yoga! Precious.

Luca pages

I used this sketch provided by Lori to create a two page layout in the Florida book. I'm on quite roll with the Florida book. Will complete more pages tonight after teaching some more yoga classes.

Cards made with Jill

I completed my first class at Scrapbook Art. Jill, the owner of Jillibean Soup was there to teach the class.

Jill designed each of these papers and embellishments. How fun to work with someone whose products are widely used around the globe. I have had the honor of working with her before as she is in my group of women, Tarragon, who meet quarterly to create.
We completed six cards in 90 minutes. This is my new record. :)

I'll be recreating this bird card in many different ways.

I'm a new fan of the twine.
