August Project 12

This hot summer month was punctuated by Mark in the sling, then out. Also featured thsi month: our NC road trip, Alissa and Nath's ceremony, Allison's shower and Cristi's visit. How about these cool patterns? I've loved these bright papers for years. I've completed mini books and layouts with these happy papers before and really enjoy it each time I work with them.

It's done! I'm really going to do this all year!
July was much about Mark healing. It ended with me having the time of my life in Lake Tahoe!

June Project 12

Incorporated Lori's challenge of using a button. I'm not a huge fan of buttons so used a yellow one to make this butterfly pop on the bottom. Isn't June a time of sunshine yellows and greens? These pinwheels look festive as well. We've seen some beautiful butterflies like the ones here, too. I love summertime!

These monthly double pages seem to contain a little bit more each month! This month follows the same sketch with Basic Grey papers, tag, machine stitching and typewriter journaling strips.

I'm keeping with the same format all year with the layout of the page, stitching, typewritten journaling and all.

I'm keeping with the same basic layout. Using cool Basic Grey papers, and adding the stitching, typewriter text, and mini pics.

I was inspired by Davinie to create month-end layouts this year. I crammed a whole lot of info onto these two pages! I also have February nearly complete as well. Used my new typewriter to create the journaling spots.
